Tiger Woods Hot Dog Incident – For Tiger Woods the hot dog incident seemed doggone stupid as a fan charged the green at CordeValle throwing a hot dog at Woods.

The Tiger Woods hot dog incident occurred while Woods was lining up a birdie putt on hole number seven at the CordeValle Country Club in California.

The fan ran up to Tiger Woods throwing the hot dog then falling to the ground in what Woods called a move that screamed ‘arrest me’ to the Santa Clara deputies who were closing in.

The crazed fan tossing the hot dog at Tiger Woods never even hit the green with the bun, but the weiner did land on the putting surface. Woods backed off his birdie putt, but then quickly resumed play after the man was hustled away by police.

While Tiger remained unfazed by the projectile incident, his fellow players like Arjun Atwal, seemed concerned at the sight of a fan yelling out Woods’ name and approaching the green. Mr Atwal said: ‘They could have shot him. The cops could have thought it was something else.’

It was high drama, albeit briefly, in an otherwise solid round of 3-under 68 for Woods.
