Luke Donald PGA Tour Money List 2011 – Luke Donald already number one in the world just became number one on the PGA Tour money list with a win at the Children’s Miracle Network Classic.

Luke Donald’s performance to become number one on the PGA Tour money list was done at a win at Disney, Donald had six straight birdies on the back nine Sunday at Lake Buena Vista, Fla., and closed with an 8-under-par 64 to come from five shots off the lead and win the Children’s Miracle Network Classic.

Luke Donald’s position on the PGA Tour Money list was behind Webb Simpson by $363,029 coming into Sunday’s finale.This  incredible come back golf is surely a performance that ranks among Donald’s best, even in his greatest season of golf. The two-stroke win over Justin Leonard (71) lifted his earnings to a Tour-best $6.68 million.

Luke Donald holed four straight birdie putts inside 8 feet, took the lead with an 18-foot birdie on the par-5 14th hole, then sealed his stunning rally with a 45-foot birdie on the 15th hole.

This was Luke Donald’s second PGA Tour win of the year. Donald also won the Vardon Trophy for the lowest adjusted  scoring average. With no one else winning more than twice this year, the British golfer has established himself as the number one favorite to be PGA Tour Player of the Year.
